Whether you are constructing mezzanine floors or raised passageways on pallet racking, continuous surface shelving or boltless shelving, Armes is able to produce decking solutions to meet all needs. One of the most widely used solutions employs galvanised sheet metal floor strips , closed or perforated. The capacities of the floor strips have been defined using Coldform finite element programs, using the "Permitted tensions” method; for calculation of the capacity reference is made to situations in which the load is uniformly distributed and arranged in the most unfavourable way for testing purposes. Alternatively corrugated sheet iron can be used; this can be combined with wood, obtaining a surface on which forklift and pallet trucks can be used, or lightweight concrete casting, to obtain a masonry floor which can then be finished with the usual solutions (tiles, linoleum, carpet, parquet, etc). Decking can also be obtained using Deck 2005, a chipboard-based fireproof material, thickness 38 mm, which has a non-slip surface, and in addition to looking good, is able to withstand the use of forklift and pallet trucks.
